Another something I found on my museum (shop) tour. A small book with the work of Karl Bloßfeldt (1865-1932). The book is in German, but I found this one sentence about his work that I think is quit nice: 'Es ging ihm um die Struktur der Pflanzen, ihre aus Zweckmäßigkeit geborene höchste künstlerische Form.' I'll try to translate it: 'He was interested in the structure of plants and their highly artistic forms born out of efficiency or necessity.' Or something like that... I found this website where you can find more of his work.

I have the same book..so beautiful!

I love museum shops too, at least I want a postcard to bring home. This is a beautiful book indeed. And the notebooks in the next post too :-)
